The safety and well-being of our swimmers and of our teachers is of the utmost importance. While the situation around Coronavirus keeps evolving, we’re closely monitoring government and official public health organisation announcements for guidance, and we want to let you know the actions we are taking in our swimming lessons and pools.
We will continue to take every precautionary measure we can to ensure our pools remain as clean and hygienic as possible.
This includes an increase in frequency of cleaning/sanitising all contact surfaces including all seats, glass surfaces, handrails, door-handles,toilets,changing rooms. Our swim staff are also being fully briefed on an ongoing basis with regards to enhanced standards around hygiene, hand-washing, and we have provided additional sanitisers and disposable wipes.
We will continue to operate our swimming lessons as normal until such time as the government decide to close schools. We will also let you know if we need to follow any other restrictions that might be put in place, such as limitations to the numbers of swimmers we can have for any given class.
We have strict guidelines for any of our teachers who may begin to show early symptoms to stay away from lessons, we would also encourage all our swimmers and parents/carers to do the same and stay at home if they feel unwell. If we have to cancel any lessons we will of course carry any fees already paid over to the next term.
We truly value your trust and loyalty to Eastbourne Otters
